Getting Started
In order to use the Pivo Studio app, you need to pair it with a Pivo Pod. After signing in to your account, you'll be brought to the Pivo Studio Gallery. To start capturing, you'll need to click on the Capture button at the bottom of the screen. When you press the Capture button, the pairing screen will appear on the app. The app will automatically scan for a Pivo Pod that's available and connect to it. After it's connected successfully, the battery level of the Pivo Pod will be displayed on the screen. Before pairing, make sure your Pivo Pod is turned on.
Once you've connected to the Pod, the app will open in the capture screen where you can start capturing.
Settings
- Exposure: A slider bar will appear upon tapping the Exposure icon
. You can increase or decrease the exposure by sliding the bar left and right. - Color Temperature: A slider bar will appear upon tapping on the Color Temperature icon
. You can increase or decrease the color temperature by sliding the bar left and right. - Background Removal: A slider bar will appear when you tap on the Background Removal icon
. By sliding the bar left to right, you can increase or decrease the amount of background removal.
Note: Background Removal is currently not available and will be made available at a later date. - Grid: Enable Grid for better alignment. You can choose between two types of Grid by clicking on the Grid icon
consecutively. - Timer: Click on the Timer icon
to enable a three seconds countdown before the photo is captured.
Turntable Controller
You can manually rotate the Turntable or adjust the rotation angle with the controller on the screen. Click on 
to rotate left and 
to rotate right. Click on 
to adjust the starting angle. You can choose between Manual, 90° and 360°. When Manual is selected, the Turntable will rotate at 1° each time you tap on the rotation button, while pressing and holding the rotation button will rotate the turntable continuously.

How to capture a 360° Shot
You can adjust the Turntable to your preferred angle and capture a 360° Shot with Pivo Studio with the following steps:
1. In the capture screen, you can choose between a Single Shot or a 360° Shot by clicking on the circle menu on the left of the Capture button. Select 360° Shot and click on Apply to capture a 360° Shot.
2. Once you've applied the 360° Shot mode, you'll be brought back to the capture screen. In the capture screen, you can adjust the Control Settings by clicking on the Settings menu towards the right of the Capture button. Under Control Settings, you can choose the number of frames you'd like to capture per rotation as well as the rotation speed.
Frames per 360° rotation
You can choose between 24 and 72 frames per 360° shot. If you select 24 frames, each shot will be taken at every 15° angle. If you select 72 frames, each shot will be taken at every 5° angle.
Note: A 72-frame shot will create a smoother result as compared to 24-frame shot, but please note that the video will be longer and the file size will be larger.
Rotation Speed
In Control Settings, you can adjust the speed at which Pivo rotates. Under Rotation Speed, choose your preferred speed between Slow, Normal, and Fast. Slow is recommended for lightweight items or items that would easily shake when moving. Fast is recommended for objects that are stable and less likely to shake while Pivo is rotating.
Note: The Rotation Speed will not affect the file size and video length.
3. You can adjust the starting angle by clicking on the angle adjustment button 
on the screen. You can choose between Manual, 90°, and 360°. Once done, click on or to rotate the Pod in your preferred direction.
Note: The angle adjustment feature is for you to adjust the angle you'd like Pivo to start rotating from and doesn't determine the angle in which Pivo will rotate while capturing. A 360° shot can only rotate at 360°.
4. Once you've selected your preferred settings, you're all ready to start capturing your 360° shot. As the capture starts, a circle bar will be reflected around the Capture button, indicating the progress. The number reflected at the top indicates the number of shots that have been taken.
Pause/Cancel the capture
Press on the Capture button to pause/stop the capture process. When you press the Capture button, it pauses the capture and a pop-up message will appear asking if you'd like to delete the capture. If you select Delete, the capturing process will be stopped completely and the captured images will be deleted. This will bring you back to the capture screen. If Cancel is selected, the capture will resume.
