What can I do with 50/50?

With 50/50, you can make one creation that is 50% still image, 50% animated clip. 50/50 is essentially a quick and easy cinemagraph.

Getting Started

1. Connect your Pod to your smartphone through the Pivo Play (Pivo Pod) app. See the full article on How to pair your smartphone.

2. Once you've paired your smartphone, the app will open in Capture preview. Change your mode by swiping right and selecting 50/50.

3. You can adjust your settings by tapping the icons on the top-right corner of the 50/50 preview or swipe left for Mode settings.

4. To close the Mode settings, simply click on thebutton or swipe right to return to 50/50 preview.

In the Capture preview - Video Recording mode, tap this icon at the top left corner, to see the Pod battery percentage, User guide , Remote Control guide, and settings.

Rotation Direction 

You can choose how you want Pivo to rotate, it can be Counterclockwise or Clockwise when shooting. 

Shooting Mode

When you choose Auto mode, Pivo takes care of the rest after you tap the shutter once. If you choose Manual mode, using it with the Remote Control will allow you to have enough time to get ready/change your outfit and strike a great pose.

Video Recording Length

You can choose the length of the video from 1s to 5s.

50/50 Capture

Tap the shutter button to start. Pivo will take a photo, rotate, then record a video clip. Easy! Pivo will give a 3-beep count before each shot. Follow Pivo's rotation and show your stuff. For the best result, make sure to keep out of the clear zone marked on the edges of the screen.
