Guest control is a feature that allows the guest to control the rotation of the host's Pivo Pod remotely. They can do this by swiping left and right on their smartphone or using the arrow keys on their keyboard.
For the host
By default, the Guest Control permission is enabled for the guest. This means that the guest can activate/deactivate the Guest Control feature to manually rotate your Pivo Pod. As soon as the guest activates the feature and takes control of the Pod from their side, the Guest Control icon will turn white .
The host can determine if they’d like to give the guest permission and can activate/deactivate the Guest Control feature. If the host doesn’t wish to give the guest access to the feature, they can disable it at any time by clicking on the Guest Control icon located at the very left of the menu bar. The Guest Control icon will turn red on the host's screen once the permission is disabled. Once the Guest Control permission is disabled, the guest won't be able to activate/deactivate the feature from their end.
For the guest
If the host has given you permission to use the Guest Control feature, you'll be able to activate/deactivate the feature at any time.
If the host hasn't given you permission to access the Guest Control feature, the Camera Control icon will turn black, and a message saying, "You can’t move their camera. Ask (host name) to turn on Guest Control” " will appear at the bottom when you hover your mouse over it.
If permission has been given to you, you'll be able to activate the feature freely. The Camera Control function will turn red if Guest Control is activated and otherwise it's black if it's deactivated.
How to control the Pivo Pod
Once the feature is activated, you can rotate the host's Pivo Pod by swiping across your smartphone's screen (if the call is received with a smartphone/tablet) or use the mouse/mousepad/arrow keys (if you're using a laptop/computer) to rotate the host's Pivo Pod or control the zoom distance.
