The Remote Control has different functions depending on the application the Pod is connected with. Manual controls are also possible as long as the Auto Tracking feature is turned off.
Connected to the Pivo Track app (Auto Tracking: ON)
When the Pivo Pod is connected to the Pivo Track app, the Remote Control has limited functionality.
1. Center: Capture start/end
2. Left: n/a
3. Right: n/a
4. Up: If Auto Zoom is off, zoom in
5. Down: If Auto Zoom is on, zoom out

7. << (-): n/a
8. Pause: If recording, reset tracking
9. Mode (Track): Short press to turn off Auto Tracking. Long press to turn on Lock-On (Body) tracking
Connected to the Pivo Track app (Auto Tracking: OFF)
1. Center: Capture start/end
2. Left: Rotate clockwise
3. Right: Rotate counterclockwise
4. Up: n/a
5. Down: n/a
6. >> (+): Speed up if pressed once. Max speed if pressed twice
7. << (-):Speed down if pressed once. Minimum speed if pressed twice
8. Pause: Stop rotate
9. Mode (Track): Short press to turn on the last tracking mode used
Not connected to the Pivo Track app (connected to other Pivo apps)
When the Pivo Pod is not connected to the Pivo+ app, you can manually control the Pod with the following Remote Control commands:
1. Center: n/a
2. Left: Rotate clockwise
3. Right: Rotate counterclockwise
4. Up: Speed up
5. Down: Speed down
6. >> (+): Rotate 360 counterclockwise
7. << (-): Rotate 360 clockwise
8. Pause: Stop rotate

Specifications
Range
Pivo's Remote Control has a working range of up to 50 ft/15 m. For optimal performance, it's best to make sure there is a clear, unobstructed path between your Pivo Pod and the Remote Control.
Battery type
The Remote Control uses replaceable 3V coin-type batteries (CR1632). Two batteries are included in the Remote Control. Carefully remove the batteries' protective plastic strips (depending on the model) before pairing to the Pivo Pod.
