The Remote Control has different functions depending on the application the Pod is connected with. Manual controls are also possible as long as the Auto Tracking feature is turned off.
Connected to the Pivo+ app (Auto Tracking: ON)
When the Pivo Pod is connected to the Pivo+ app, the Remote Control has limited functionality.

Up/Down buttons - Zoom in/out of the photo, video and meet. Auto Tracking should be turned on and Auto Zoom is turned off for manual zoom to work

+ button - Captures a photo or start/stop recording a video

II button - Reset tracking; lets you reset the Pivo device to a position where tracking worked for the first time. In case Pivo lost its tracking during video recording and can’t pick it up on its own, Reset tracking reposition Pivo where the recording started

M button - Lock-on tracking; lets you lock/unlock a specific tracking target among multiple targets in Body Tracking mode
Connected to the Pivo+ app (Auto Tracking: OFF)

When the Pivo Pod is not connected to the Pivo+ app, you can manually control the Pod with the following Remote Control commands:

Up/Down buttons - Increase/decrease the rotation speed of the Pivo Pod

Left/Right buttons - Manually rotate the Pivo Pod towards the left/right

Rewind/Fast Forward buttons - Manually start a 360 degrees rotation of the Pivo Pod

+ button - Capture a photo or start/stop recording a video

II button - Pause the rotation
Specifications
Range
Pivo's Remote Control has a working range of up to 50 ft/15 m. For optimal performance, it's best to make sure there is a clear, unobstructed path between your Pivo Pod and the Remote Control.
Battery type
The Remote Control uses replaceable 3V coin-type batteries (CR1632). Two batteries are included in the Remote Control. Carefully remove the batteries' protective plastic strips before pairing to the Pivo Pod.
