What is the Host Role?
In a Pivo Arena Lessons session, the host is the person who initiate the session and invite your coach or student (the guest) to join. This is typically the rider or student but it’s also possible for a coach to start the session.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- The Pivo Arena app installed and open
- Your Pivo Pod connected (see Connecting Pivo Arena to the Pod)
- A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi recommended for best video quality)
Starting the Call
- Connect your Pivo Pod and navigate to Lessons Mode from the capture screen.
- Configure your preferred settings (tracking mode, camera angle, etc.).
- Tap Connect and then Invite Guest.
- A screen will appear where you can share the session link with your guest.
Sharing the Session Link
There are two ways to share your session link:
Option 1 – Share Link Tap Share Link and send the invitation via your preferred platform (WhatsApp, email, Messages, etc.).
Option 2 – Share via Email (from contacts) If your guest's email address is saved in your native contact list, their email will appear in the dropdown in the Lessons screen. Select their name and tap Start Lessons to send the invite directly.
During the Call
- Your guest will appear in a small window once they join. Tap the window to resize it.
- The microphone icon on the guest's window shows whether their microphone is on or off.
- Toggle Guest Control using the Guest Control icon to allow or prevent your coach from rotating your Pod remotely.
- Use the Mute icon (bottom right) to turn your own microphone on or off.
