What is Guest Control?
Guest Control is a feature in Pivo Arena's Lessons Mode that allows the coach to remotely control the rotation of the student's Pivo Pod. This means a coach can adjust the camera angle from their own device — without the student needing to stop and manually reposition the Pod.
How Guest Control Works
The guest can rotate the host's Pivo Pod by:
- Swiping left or right on their smartphone or tablet screen
- Using the left/right arrow keys on a keyboard (when joining from a laptop or computer)
The guest can also control the zoom of the camera during the session.
Enabling Guest Control (Rider/Student)
By default, Guest Control permission is enabled for the coach. As the student/rider, you can toggle Guest Control on or off during the session:
- During the Lessons session, tap the Guest Control icon on your screen.
- Tap to enable (allows the guest to control your Pod) or disable (restricts Pod control to the host only).
Using Guest Control (Guest)
- During the session, locate the Camera Control icon on your screen.
- If the student has enabled Guest Control, the icon will be active.
- Swipe left or right on your screen or use arrow keys to rotate the host's Pod.
Tips
- Guest Control is especially useful when coaching complex movements — the coach can reframe the camera to see different angles without interrupting the session.
- The host should position their Pod in a central location to give the guest the widest range of remote rotation.
