Want to lock the tracking for a specific target? Lock-On Tracking (Beta) is the feature for you!
This feature works with Pivo+'s Body Tracking feature, and it makes Auto Tracking possible even when there are multiple targets* on the screen.
When a target (person) is detected and selected as the main target, it keeps the person tracked even when he's covered by another person/object. When there are multiple people, the tracking should stick to the main target without jumping to another person.
Activating Lock-On Tracking
1. Launch the Pivo+ application, by default it's on Video mode.
2. Tap on the icon to the left of the shutter button to open the list of Tracking Modes and select Body Tracking.
3. Once you see a red box around the target, tap the lock icon on the top portion of the screen or press the M button on the Remote Control to activate the Lock-On Tracking feature.
It's also recommended for the target to be locked to stand away from the camera and let Pivo see the whole shape of the human body, from head to toe, before activating the Lock-On Tracking feature.
*Note: Pivo's tracking relies on visual detection. While Lock-On tracking can enhance Pivo's performance, various factors such as lighting conditions, movement speed, and the similarity between tracking targets can impact its effectiveness.
