Lessons Mode on the Pivo Track app is a feature designed to enhance remote coaching and self-review by allowing users to record, review, and share training sessions with intelligent tracking. Here are brief insights for coaches and students.
Step-by-step guide for coaches on how to use Lessons Mode on Pivo:
As a guest, you can join the call easily by clicking on the invitation link that the host shares with you, or by copying and pasting the link on a Safari or Chrome browser.
Clicking on the invitation link
The host will send you the invitation link either through email or any other messaging platform. Simply click on the invitation link to join the call. You'll be brought to the landing page where you can adjust the settings before joining the call. You can choose to enable or disable your microphone and camera
by clicking on the respective icons. Once you're ready, click on Start now to enter the call.
Copying and pasting invitation link
An alternative way to join the call is to copy and paste the invitation link in the web browser. You can open the web browser here. Once you're in the browser, you'll be asked to enter the Meet ID. Now, copy and paste the invitation link here and you'll be ready to join the call.
Note: Please make sure to sign in/sign up and fill out the profile form to be able to proceed.
Select your preferred settings by enabling or disabling your microphone and camera
by clicking on the respective icons. Once you've done that, click on Join Meet to enter the call.
Once all the needed permission requests are granted, you may tap Start now to join the lesson.
Important note: To join the call, please make sure you allow permission for Pivo Track Meet to access your camera and microphone. You'll be prompted to grant this access as soon as you click on the invitation link or enter the call browser.
If the pop up does not automatically appear, please allow permission through the browser's settings page.
Desktop Recording feature
Desktop-recording-feature-for-Lessons-Mode . If you'd like to end the recording, simply select the purple recording button, and it should go back to Start Recording. Another message on the upper right-hand side will also show up, but this time it will indicate that the recording is downloaded.
By default, the file will be saved in your downloads folder. Please click the file name on the bottom left corner of the page to playback the recording.
Note: If you need to record videos more than 20 minutes, simply click Start Recording again and follow the steps from the top.
Only guests joining a Pivo Lessons session through a computer or laptop web browser can use this recording feature.
Pivo Track App – Lessons Mode for Students
1. Set Up Your Pivo
Download the Pivo Track app (iOS or Android).
Log in or sign up for a free Pivo account.
Mount your smartphone on the Pivo Pod using a stable tripod.
Ensure the Pod is charged and connected via Bluetooth.
2. Invite Your Coach to the Lesson mode
Preferred method: Tap the URL box on the screen and the link will be copied to the clipboard. Send the link to your guest/coach and have them paste it manually on a Chrome browser.
Click on the Share link button and share the invitation link to your guest through your preferred platform.
You can also choose to share the link directly to your guest by email. To do this, you'd first need add the email address of the guest to your native contact list. Once you've done that, the email of the guest will be reflected on the dropdown list in Meet. Now, on the dropdown list, select the guest you'd like to share the link with and click on Start Meet.
The guest will appear in a small window at the bottom left hand corner as soon as they join the call. This window can be resized by simply clicking on it. The Microphone icon on the guest's window indicates if the guest has enabled or disabled their microphone.

In the call, you can choose to enable or disable the Guest Control feature by tapping on the Guest Control icon

at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

3. Record a Lesson : Cloud Recording

How to use Cloud Recording
1. From the Pivo Track application, access the Lessons Mode and follow the steps outlined here to start a session.
2. On the Lessons capture page, the Cloud Recording option will appear on the host/application side. This icon can be seen on the upper left corner of the screen:
3. Tap the Cloud Recording icon and another prompt will appear before the recording starts. The recording limit depends on your subscription plan. After it ends, simply tap the icon again to start a new recording.
4. After tapping the red recording button, the Cloud Recording icon on the upper left corner will change to the timer with a square button that can be tapped to stop the current recording.
5. Successfully saved recordings can be accessed through your Pivo Cloud Storage page. Please follow the steps here to access the said files. You can view, share, or download the files you need.
Tips for Better Results
Stay within the Pod’s tracking range (3–10 meters is ideal).
Keep your movements smooth and avoid sudden jumps out of frame.
Always check your setup before recording: camera angle, lighting, and focus.
